How long does it take for running to effect?
August 20th, 2009 | by DistanceRunner |I am going to England in 6 weeks and i want to lose like 25-30lbs. My question is how long after i start running will i see a difference? I want to become a person who runs a lot so also tips on how to motivate yourself would be great.

It depends how far you run per day and at what speed

If you want to lose that much weight in that amount of time. Just running won’t do much. You need to eat low ( calorie, fat, sugar and sodium) but high in fiber and protein foods. Mostly fruits and vegetables. Drink water because you need to stay hydrated. Try not to eat no more than 1200 calories a day. Try doing as much as you can. try to make your way up and do more everyday and eventually you should be able to run about an hour nonstop. If you’re not used to doing it, you should see results in no time. Good Luck.
