Running?
June 1st, 2009 | by DistanceRunner |How much miles do you run daily or in a week or what ever?? I think I am running to much. I run 5 miles in the morning and five miles at about 5. Well I guess it is not bad to run that much. But for some reason i love to run. It takes me about 25 min to run 5 miles, So i guess i run 5 miles for 5 min. I just want to know how much you run. Cause my friends say i am insane, cause i am 15 and no 15 girls wants to do that. They say I am prob doing it cause i want to lose weight and i just don’t know it, but I don’t, I am a model and I think I am perfectly fine. So how much do you run??

Wow you run a lot. Just be happy you can run that much! I would say I run a half a mile per day and maybe twice a week a run 1 or 2 miles… wow it’s amazing how much you run

Running is fun but an excessive amount can cause one to become underweight and lead to knee and hip problems. It is better to diversify your work-outs. Run,swim, bike and do strength training to avoid problems and to maintain well-roundedness in your training.

Nothing is wrong with you. You are perfectly fine. I run 5-8 miles a day 7 days a week. Its called a hobby and a passion. I take off maybe once a month for a day to rest my legs. I wish I had your speed. Maybe you should shoot for a marathon that way you will have a goal in mind. Good luck to you! Running is my life and consequently my only time to be selfish and do it just for me!

5 miles in 25 minutes?? you had better check out the distance your running to make sure its correct. The fastest woman in the world run just over the 5 minute mark for distances under the 10k mark (6.2 miles) But running is great and if your feeling well and eating right or enough food then keep running. I run any where from 40-90 miles a week. The 90 mile weeks only come into play a couple times a year when I am gearing up for a marathon. Keep running!!
