Are there good running shoes at a reasonable price? Also what type of socks do I use? Any help is appreciated!

I like New Balance, but I’m not a super distance runner or anything. Shoot in the $50-$70 range–they’ll be reliable but not too expensive. For socks, just get some ones that fit really well. You don’t want them sliding around while you’re running, or you’ll get blisters. I like the kind that barely come up to your ankle. Get ones that have a lot of cotton and spandex and stretch a lot, because they’re more likely to stay put.

I agree on Asics or Brooks. I used to wear adidas and Nike, but I’ve been wearing Asics for the last 3-4 years and I just bought by first pair of Brooks this year…what a difference. Much more comfortable! The best thing to do is go to a running shoe store and have them analyze your foot…they will fit you in a shoe designed for your foot type.

I would suggest New Balance as well. These are well designed running shoes. You can get any type of running sock that has extra padding on the pressure points of your feet.

you may want to go to a running store that specialize in running they will help you find the right shoe for running needs. You might need a shoes that gives you more cushioning or one the gives you more support. A shoe the works for one person might not work for you. If you wear the wrong shoe it can can cause injury. They can also help you find a good pair of socks the will work for you. Good Luck
