Are there any specific routines to maximize fat burning while running? I’m an average runner and i run an hour a day. Any tips or tricks to help me lose more weight will help. Tnx.

The **ABSOLUTELY** most calorie-burning way to run is timed sprints.

Sprint, and then time a 60-second rest. Then sprint again, and rest again. Repeat.

This method will have the greatest overall positive impact on your cardiovascular health.

If you’re really into the distance running thing (jogging or whatnot), pick up the pace and take short rests. If you normally jog/run an hour nonstop, go so that after half an hour you have to take a rest. Then go at it again.

    Dustin pretty much said it.

    Its all about timed sprints.

I do a little bit different, I incorporate the sprints into my long distance run. Over my two mile run I will normally stride at 5.5mph ( on a treadmill of course ) and randomly spike to 7.0MPH for a minute or two to bring the heart rate up. And then I will bring it back down to my normal stride and continue.
