What is running a stop sign reduced to when you mail it in?
January 8th, 2009 | by DistanceRunner |When you mail your ticket in and pay the fine, your ticket is reduced a few points, so that it reads something else on your record. What does running stop sign “change” to in Colorado?

Not enough to look forward to. Colorado doesn’t LIKE redlight runners…

I ran a stop sign and the *** hole wanted to give me an eight point ticket but ‘generously’ reduced it to a two point if i remember right. I took it to court because the guy was a jerk but I think the two points was the reduction, in court they told me if i took an online traffic course it would go down to one point (which i did), or I could drive to Denver and do a two day course and the ticket would be 0 points but the fine remained at fifty dollars regardless, plus I had to pay for the course.

Whatever it changes to is kind of irrelevant, it still counts as a conviction for failing to stop at a stop sign.
