How should I improve running, and quickly if im overweight?

Well im over weight, alot. Im not sure what my weight is, But I start high school football practice tomorrow and I need some tips. And how to improve running, I know running will improve running, But how does walking workfor it? Will this help? I need ways to build the length I can run. Will walking like 4 miles help with a lttle bit of length you can run? What about biking? Will this also help?

U build up youre stamina by eating high-fiber foods, like peanuts and almonds. Walk a LOT. And move around with quick, nimble, jerky movements even though it isnt nessesary. Eat a lot of protein, too. Go to 7-11 and buy some protein bars. I had the same problem as you, except I ate peanuts and protein bars w/milk, and I outgrew it. See ya.
