If economic adviser Carly Fiorina is correct saying running a business is not necessary to run govt?
June 11th, 2008 | by DistanceRunner |who’s sane asked:
McCain top ecomonic advisor says it is not important having experience running a business has nothing to do with running a government? Is this why the country is failing? Wasn’t Bush loosing his business when he was elected? Was it one trade for antoher? Us loosing?

I wouldn’t take advice on running a business from Carly “Kicked out of HP” Fiorina. I’m surprised McCain doesn’t have her hiring some more private investigators to spy on that darned sexist biased liberal media.

She also said that Palin wasn’t qualified to run Hewlet Packard but somehow she is qualified to run the most powerful country in the world.

Bush was the Governor of Texas, not running a business…that’d be illegal.
What I think is funny is that Fiorna is saying business experience isn’t important when compared to government business…If she feels that way, what in the hell is she advising on?
And this is just a pet-peeve of mine, so please don’t take offense, but it is “losing” not “loosing”

No, she was merely pointing out that they are two different jobs.

If the government can’t run a business, then you’re hooped. The government IS a business.
Americans, if you elect as leaders people who can’t run a business then you deserve everything you get. Bush has destroyed the economy in the US; perhaps running his business into the ground was a clue that should have been heeded.
Of course Bush is not responsible for all the economic problems the US is facing, but he IS responsible for a lot of the money going out the door. He is The Decider, after all.
