I picked up a pair a running shorts as suggested in a running book. They suggested a split run short. I purchased a pair at my local running shop. I felt like I was exposed while running in a crosswind. What do you you recommend on running shorts?

put spandex shorts under the split sun shorts, or under armour…cool gear. they are awsome.

i run in surf shorts, they’r up to your knees so you wont give any1 a good dose of eye candy lol plus they breath easy, they’r flexible and they wont stick to you when you sweat…trust me i jog everyday for over an hour n surf shorts help alot!

I have 5 inch inseam under armour shorts I love. If you wanna feel really safe that you won’t flash anyone go get spandex shorts underneath. That way, if your shorts ride up, so what!

Any athletic shorts that are well above the knees, a couple of inches or so, will do. This helps your leg movement and also prevents chafing. And as for being exposed, wear compression shorts, some people prefer to just run in the shorts alone, because it supposedly increases blood flow in your legs but do whatever you feel most comfortable doing.
