I started running recently (in fact today) and I like to run early in the morning, but today was realy cold and as I was breathing realy hard I got sore throat..

What do I do about it (I bought some spray, but I’d appreciate some homemade tips)?
Can I run tomorow morning?
How do I prevent it?

    Don’t Run.
    Try breathing through your nose.

I have run through many injuries, rain, snow, sleet and hot weather, but the one time I tried running with a sore throat I almost choked! Since the air will go through your nose right into your throat, breathing through your nose will do nothing to help.

If it’s sore like just dry and it got better in an hour, then you might be good to go as long as you run less distance at a slower pace. But if it’s red and persistently sore, you are grounded my friend! Take some medicine, get some rest, you will be ready to run in a few days. If you push it, it will stay sore longer, so make sure you are healthy before you train.
